Newbury Street

T: Arlington, Copley, Hynes/ICA

Newbury Street. It is said that people come to Boston from all over the world with empty suitcases just to visit the shops on Newbury Street. The street is a feast for the eye – from the building mural to the churches, shops, galleries and restaurants lining the street. Most shops and galleries are open daily from 10am to 6pm. Some galleries offer older works by contemporary masters and some offer a flavor of Boston artists’ exquisite art. Shopping on Newbury Street is also a diverse experience – from customer-order items to delightful collectibles.

When shopping in Boston, one of the highlights is that any purchase of clothes or shoe wear is tax-free up to $175.
